Aircrafts are a type of Vehicle in Phoenix Point. Aircrafts are used to transport units around the Geoscape and combat Enemies and Pandoran Flyers. Each Aircraft can have two weapons and one module, and they can be used to transport either soldiers or Land Vehicles.
Capacity
Refers to the amount of soldiers that can be carried inside the Aircraft.
Land Vehicles can be carried inside Aircraft by taking 3 soldier slots.
Research
Helios, Thunderbird and Tiamat need to be researched via Synedrion Aircraft Technology, New Jericho Aircraft Technology and Tiamat Development respectively.
Festering Skies DLC
Festering Skies DLC introduces one more Aircraft (Masked Manticore) which needs to be researched by the Masked Manticore Research.
It also introduces a new air combat mini-game where the player fights against Pandoran Flyers.
